DR (Domain Rating)

DR is a metric that estimates the overall authority of a website’s backlink profile. It is commonly used to evaluate the strength of a domain.

Higher DR websites typically have stronger backlink profiles, but DR should be evaluated alongside relevance and traffic.

Traffic

Traffic refers to the estimated organic search traffic a website receives. This is commonly used to gauge whether a site is actively ranking and receiving visitors from Google.

Traffic estimates can fluctuate over time and may vary depending on the SEO tool used.

Anchor Text

Anchor text is the clickable text of a hyperlink. It tells search engines what the linked page is about.

Your anchor text choices can impact both SEO and link naturalness.

Anchor Types

Anchor types describe how specific or branded your anchor text is. Common anchor types include:

  • Branded: Your brand name (example: Respona)

  • Naked URL: A plain URL (example: https://yourdomain.com)

  • Generic: Non-descriptive anchors (example: click here, learn more)

  • Partial match: Includes part of your target keyword plus other words (example: link building outreach tools)

  • Exact match: Matches the main keyword exactly (example: link building)

Placement

A placement is a published page where your backlink appears. In most cases, this is a guest post on a third-party website.

Each placement includes:

  • A live URL where the content is published

  • A backlink pointing to your target URL

  • Anchor text used for the backlink

Pre-Approval

Pre-approval is an optional step where you review suggested websites or pages before the content is published.

If pre-approval is enabled for your order:

  • We submit suggested domains or specific pages for review

  • You can approve or reject options

  • We only publish after an option is approved

Pre-approval can increase delivery time because it adds an additional review step before publication.
