What are the sending strategies?

In this article we’ll take a look at what the sending strategies are, how to set them up, and how to change them for existing campaigns.

There are three different sending strategies that you can choose for your campaign. They are useful if you plan to assign multiple people to each opportunity.

  • No-Reply: sends your email to the second assigned address if the previous one did not reply in a set time period.

  • CC: sends your email to the first assigned email address and CC’s the any others assigned.

  • Send-all: sends your email to all assigned email addresses at the same time, but on separate threads,.

The usefulness of each sending strategy is dependent on the type of campaign you're running, but our recommendation for link building campaigns is the no-reply strategy.

How to select a sending strategy to your campaign:

  1. At the Review & Launch stage, press "launch".

  2. Select your desired strategy from the Advanced Settings drop-down.

Can I change the sending strategy of an existing campaign?

To change the sending strategy of an already launched campaign, follow these steps:

  1. Select your campaign from the “Campaigns” tab.

  2. Navigate over to “Settings”.

  3. Select your desired strategy from the “Sending Strategy” drop-down.

  4. Click “Update information” to save the settings.

Note: this will only affect future opportunities that are added to the campaign after its launch, existing opportunities will not be changed.
