Intro

Affiliate marketing is a very good way to spread the word about your business, earn some links, and boost your traffic and sales along the way.

We’re going to be looking at affiliate blogs in particular. There is a more effective way to find potential affiliates than pitching random bloggers hoping that they would be willing to become your affiliate.

In this strategy, you will be finding your competitors’ affiliates and reaching out to them, offering a collaboration with you as well.

This strategy also works well with listicles. Offering a blogger to join your affiliate program would be an enticing incentive for them to put you on their “Top 10” article, if they have one.

Note: For this, you will need Ahrefs or another backlink monitoring software.

Discovery

There are two ways in which you can find affiliates with Respona.

  1. Find listicle blog posts that mention your competitors.

Products and services that are featured in "top 10" posts are often there as part of an affiliate/referral marketing program.

  1. Create a campaign.

  2. In step 1 - Find Сontent, click over to Automation Setup in the top right corner.

2. Reach out to websites that mention your competitors

Websites that mention your competitors and link to their homepage are also often doing that as part of a promotion/marketing effort.

To find these mentions with Respona, follow these steps:

  1. Create a campaign.

  2. In Step 1 - Find Content, click over to Automation Setup > Backlink Search.
